Recent developments in Hong Kong have unveiled an extensive financial fraud scandal concerning the cryptocurrency trading platform JPEX. As of today, ten more individuals have been charged in what is considered the largest alleged financial fraud case in the city’s recent history. The JPEX scandal came to light when investigators began probing the cryptocurrency trading platform and its associated over-the-counter operations.
